I'm BACK! I was on a slight sabbatical sort-of thing; about a year ago, my laptop got a virus that forced me to basically get a new hard drive, but thanks to my dad, all my pictures were saved! Then from there I was kind of wary of this site, cause that's just when the virus decided to strike...and then life just got in the way, and I haven't been photographing or anything for a while, besides little doodles on the sides of my math notes or a quick sketch or two. But I'm back now, and feeling as creative as ever!

What you see here isn't nearly even all of my work. I have a bunch of black and white prints, many pencil studies from my sketchbook, a few projects from my art class and (hopefully) some paintings to come...(the painting portion of the class just started :].) The digital photos are the only ones I have digitalized so far for obvious reasons. :P I really need to find a good scanner...

As many of you may have concluded, I'm trying my hand at indoor photo shoots. It's a stretch for me 'cause I usually use natural outdoor lighting for my work...I've only done one shoot so far with my fiance Ryan; I'm supposed to do Ryan's and my close friend Hillary's Senior Portraits. Hillary is probably my favorite model ever; she's a complete natural, plus she's freaking gorgeous... Anyway, I did my first indoor shoot ever in my best friend Naomi's studio; I used her homemade soft-box and two crappy fill lights I got from my old photography teacher at school. I didn't have a light meter, and I didn't even think I'd need one til way later,
